CHICAGO (AP) -Chicago State fired basketball coach Kevin Jones Tuesday after a 9-20 season.
Jones was 41-90 during four-plus seasons with Chicago State.
``We would like to thank Coach Jones for his years of service to Chicago State University,'' Athletics Director Wayne Baskerville said in a statement. ``We feel it now necessary to make a change to men's basketball and to the face of the athletic program as a whole.''
