Birmingham-Southern 70, Radford 57

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Dwayne Paul achieved a double-double with 15 points and a game-high 13 rebounds, leading Birmingham-Southern to a 70-57 victory over Big South rival Radford on Saturday.

The Panthers (14-5, 7-1) extended their winning streak to seven games.

Bucky McMillan scored 14 points, Sredrick Powe added 13 and Thomas Viglianco had 11 for Birmingham-Southern, which took a 30-26 halftime lead.

Radford (12-8, 5-3) also had four players reach double figures: Dan Ross scored 15, Chris Oliver and Reggie McIntyre each added 13 and Whit Holcomb-Raye had 11. Oliver grabbed a team-high nine boards, though Radford was outrebounded 40-24.

The Panthers also held Radford to 38.8 percent shooting while hitting 51.1 percent of their shots.
