CHICAGO (AP) -Royce Parran and Kourtney Calvin scored 28 points apiece Saturday to lead Chicago State to a 112-77 win over East-West.
Chicago State raced to a 53-32 halftime lead while shooting 57 percent for the field. The Cougars then ripped the nets at a 65.7 percent clip over the final 20 minutes while their lead was never threatened.
John Cantrell scored 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting for the Cougars (9-19), while Chidozie Chukwumah added 13 points and 13 rebounds. Parran dished out 11 assists to go with his 28 points.
DeMario Moore scored 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Phantoms (8-15), and T.J. Jackson added 26 points.
