STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) -Anthony Brown had 16 points and a game-high eight rebounds to lead Pacific to a 76-71 overtime victory against Montana on Saturday night at Spanos Center.

After the game was tied for the 14th time early in the extra period, Brown scored inside to begin a 6-0 run by Pacific, and the Tigers lead never fell below three points the rest of the way.

Montana led most of the second half, but Michael Kirby made two free throws to put Pacific ahead 61-60 with one minute remaining in regulation.

After Ryan Staudacher made a 3-pointer, Pacific's Michael Nunnally connected on a jumper with 23 seconds remaining to send the game into overtime.

Nunnally scored 15 points and Kirby had a career-high 12 points for Pacific (8-3). Steffan Johnson had 11 points and a game-high six assists for the Tigers.

Jordan Hasquet scored a game-high 28 points to lead Montana (5-5). Andrew Strait scored 12 points for the Grizzlies and Matt Martin scored 10.

Montana pulled away from a 28-28 halftime tie and built its biggest lead at 45-38 on a 3-pointer by Hasquet with 14:25 remaining to play.

But the Tigers pulled back quickly to tie the game again three minutes later, setting up a seesaw battle to the finish during which Pacific never led until the final minute.

The Tigers then took their biggest lead of the game in overtime at 72-66 while outscoring Montana 13-8 in the extra period.
