DAVIS, Calif. (AP) -Kyle Brucculeri had 19 points and four rebounds as UC Davis came back from a nine-point deficit in the first half to beat Presbyterian 76-63 on Monday night.
Mark Payne added 18 points, five rebounds and two steals for the Aggies (5-5).
Freshman Al?lonzo Coleman had 19 points and Bryan Bostic scored 14 for the Blue Hose (1-12).
The Blue Hose took advantage of the Aggies' missed shots and turnovers to take a 27-18 lead after Coleman made a basket with 8:08 remaining in the first half.
A 13-2 run put the Aggies out front 31-29 at the 4:00 mark that led to a 39-36 UC Davis halftime lead.
The Aggies' biggest lead in the second half came on a basket by C.J. Portz to make the score 62-45 with less than 10 minutes left to play.
Presbyterian fought back to cut UC Davis margin 65-58 on two free throws by Bostic with 4:13 remaining.
But Brucculeri and Payne combined to score the Aggies' last 11 points while the Blue Hose scored only five in the final 3:05.
