DENTON, Texas (AP) -Quincy Williams scored 13 points and North Texas held Texas A&M-International to 19 percent shooting in the first half of a 97-70 victory Friday.
The Mean Green (9-3) led 53-21 at halftime after the Dustdevils made just six of their first 32 shots. North Texas scored the first 11 points and led 29-5 midway through the first half.
Texas A&M-International (3-4) didn't hit double digits until the 5:46 mark of the first half.
Keith Wooden had 12 points and nine rebounds for North Texas, and Justin Howerton had eight points and 13 rebounds off the bench.
Chris Swan led A&M-International with 15 points, and Spencer Foreman added 12.
North Texas outrebounded A&M-International 71-39, with all 13 Mean Green players getting at least one.
