JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) -Jonathan Han scored 24 points - including the game-tying shot late in regulation - as Fairfield rallied for an 89-78 overtime win over St. Peter's on Friday night.
Anthony Johnson added 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Stags (3-8, 1-1 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference), while Herbie Allen, Marty O'Sullivan and Warren Edney had 11 points each. Nick Leon had 15 points - including three 3-pointers - and Todd Sowell had 14 points and a game-high 18 rebounds for the Peacocks (3-8, 0-2).
Trailing 65-56 with 4:31 left to play, the Stags fought back and closed with a 12-3 run, tying the game at 68-68 on Han's layup with 29 seconds remaining.
Each team hit a 3-pointer to open overtime before Fairfield went ahead for good on a 3-pointer by O'Sullivan. Raul Orta hit a layup to cut the lead to 74-73, but the Stags closed out the game with a 15-5 run.
