Louisiana Tech 73, McNeese St. 64

RUSTON, La. (AP) -Dwayne Lathan scored 19 points and Kyle Gibson added 18, including three 3-pointers, as Louisiana Tech defeated McNeese State Saturday, 73-63.

Louisiana Tech (3-9) led 33-22 at the half, on 43.5 percent shooting from the field. McNeese (6-6) managed to hit just 28 percent of its first-half shots, though it picked up its percentage in the second half.

So did Tech, which held a 14 point lead at one point in the second half, and ended the game with four players scoring in double digits. In addition to Lathan and Gibson, Keith Smith had 15 points and JC Clark, 10.

McNeese State had 14 turnovers, compared to eight for Tech.
