NEW ORLEANS (AP) -Bo McCalebb scored a game-high 26 points and Shaun Reynolds had 14 points and eight assists as New Orleans defeated William Carey 100-81 on Saturday.
McCalebb tied former South Alabama guard Jeff Hodge for second place on the Sun Belt Conference's all-time scoring list with 2,221 career points.
The Privateers (11-2) won their fourth straight, shooting their season-best, 60 percent, from the field. New Orleans had six players with double-figure scoring.
Kyle Lamonte led William Carey (8-4) with 24 points. Dexter Middleton scored 13 points and had seven rebounds.
New Orleans led 52-35 at halftime, after holding as much a 22-point lead and forcing 10 turnovers by the Crusaders.
William Carey outscored New Orleans 16-7 in the first five minutes of the second half. But 3-pointers by McCalebb and James Parlow gave the Privateers a double-digit lead they never relinquished.
This is the first time since 1991 that UNO has won 10 non-conference games in a season.
