CHICAGO (AP) -Justin Cerasoli had a game-high 17 points to lead Loyola of Chicago to a 89-45 rout of St. Mary's of Minnesota on Saturday night.
Fourteen players scored for Loyola (5-7). Andy Polka had 13 points, Dave Telander added 12 points and J.R. Blount chipped in 11 points for the Ramblers. Darrin Williams added seven points and 12 rebounds.
Loyola hit its first six shots from the field and went on a 42-11 run in the first half en route to a 53-17 halftime lead on 64 percent shooting.
St. Mary's (0-9) shot a dismal 24 percent in the first half and 30 percent for the game.
Loyola added 35 points off turnovers, compared with two points for St. Mary's. The Ramblers also had 20 fast-break points, while the Cardinals had just four.
Will Wright led St. Mary's with 11 points. Lukas Holland added nine.
