BOSTON (AP) -Manny Adako scored 18 points, including six of the team's final eight, to lead Northeastern to a 64-62 comeback win over Georgia State on Saturday.

The Huskies (5-8, 1-2 Colonial Athletic Association) trailed 58-56 with 3:32 left, Adako scored three consecutive baskets over the next 2:45 to give Northeastern a lead it wouldn't relinquish.

Georgia State (4-9, 1-2 CAA) had a chance to win it, but Leonard Mendez missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer. Mendez scored a game-high 21 points on 7-of-12 shooting from the field.

The Panthers used a 14-6 run to end the first half to open up a 33-25 lead at the break. They led by as many as 10 points. Jihad Ali scored 12 points and Trae Goldston had 11 for the visitors.

Nkem Ojougboh scored 14 points for Northeastern, including a perfect 8-for-8 at the free throw line. Matt Janning added 12 points.
