BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) -Jake Wohlfeil scored 24 points to lead Campbell to an 83-75 victory against Belmont on Saturday.
Jonathan Rodriguez added 17 points for the Camels (5-8, 1-1 Atlantic Sun), who shot 57 percent and made half of their 3-point attempts in beating the two-time defending league champions for the sixth time in eight meetings in Buies Creek.
Rodriguez continued his hot shooting, hitting seven of the 11 shots he took after entering as a 59.8 percent shooter during the Camels' previous six games.
Justin Hare had 18 points, Alex Renfroe added 16, Matt Dotson had 15 and Shane Dansby scored 12 for Belmont (9-7, 1-1), which forced the Camels into 19 turnovers and turned them into 23 points.
Julius Perkins had 12 points and Reggie Bishop added 11 for Campbell, which held a 38-33 rebounding advantage.
