HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) -Antoine Agudio, returning to the starting lineup after missing three games due to a knee injury, scored a game-high 19 points to help Hofstra rally for a 66-60 victory over James Madison on Saturday.
Charles Jenkins, who hit 7-of-11 shots from the floor, had 15 points for the Pride (3-9, 1-2 Colonial Athletic Association). Darren Townes had 11 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
Terrance Carter, who had 13 points, was the only double-figures scorer for the Dukes (9-4, 2-1), who shot just 27 percent (8-of-30) in the second half.
Pierre Curtis connected on a layup at 17:23 of the second half to give the Dukes, who were tied 36-36 at the half, a 43-40 advantage. But by the time Zygies Sestokas hit a 3-pointer less than 3 minutes later, Hofstra led 49-43.
Juwann James scored on a layup that got the Dukes as close as 61-60 with 59 seconds to play, but Townes scored the final five points for Hofstra to seal the win.
