SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) -Nick Weiermiller scored all six of his points in overtime to lead Texas-Pan American past Texas State 83-78 on Saturday night.

Weiermiller opened his team's overtime scoring with a 3-pointer and later put the Broncs (9-10) ahead for good with a layup that made it 77-76 with 1:30 remaining.

The Bobcats (7-6) forced overtime when Brandon Bush converted a three-point play for a 70-70 tie with 53 seconds left. Bush missed a 3-pointer in the final seconds of regulation.

Texas State led 76-73 in overtime after two free throws by Ryan White, but Texas-Pan American answered with a 6-0 run that included two layups and a steal by Zach Trader, who had 18 points. The second layup put the Broncs ahead 79-76 with 52 seconds remaining.

Emmanuel Jones led five Texas-Pan American players in double figures with 19 points. Paul Stoll had 10 points, including three in overtime, to go with nine assists, four rebounds and three steals.

Bush and Chris Agwumaro led Texas State with 15 points apiece.
