Alex Owumi led all scorers with 28 points and nine rebounds, but it wasn't enough for Alcorn State (1-13) to notch its second win of the season. Kendrick James and Troy Jackson had 13 apiece for the Braves.
Alcorn State took a 37-31 lead at halftime but was outscored 50-38 in the second half.
