GRAMBLING, La. (AP) -Richard Lott had 15 points and Andrew Hayles 14 as Alabama State beat Grambling State 81-55.
Brandon Gordon added 12 points and Brandon Brooks 11 for Alabama State (5-6).
Grambling (0-8) was led by Anthony Williams' 13 points and Jared Riley's 10. Andre' Ratliff had a game-high seven rebounds.
Alabama State was up 7-0 before Grambling got its first basket, and never trailed. The Hornets led 44-23 at halftime.
