Alabama A&,M 94, Grambling St. 61

GRAMBLING, La. (AP) -Trant Simpson and Desmond Jackson each scored 15 points for Alabama A&M and the Bulldogs forced 30 turnovers en route to a 94-61 Southwestern Athletic Conference win on Monday night.
The Tigers (0-9, 0-2) had trouble holding onto the ball in the opening minutes and Alabama A&M (4-8, 1-1) quickly took advantage as the Bulldogs claimed a 20-6 lead seven minutes into the game.
Grambling cut the deficit to 11 on two occasions over the next five minutes but Alabama A&M strongly closed out the half, outscoring the Tigers 23-16. Alabama A&M led at the half, 53-35.
Joining Simpson and Jackson in double figures were Evan Hilton, who had 12 and John Smith added 11.
Duran Diaz, a freshman who came off the bench, led Grambling with 14 points while Andrew Prestley chipped in 10.
