MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) -John Lamb didn't miss a shot and scored 18 points, all in the second half, as Morehead State fought back to beat Eastern Kentucky 62-53 Thursday night.
Lamb was 5-of-5 from the floor, including 4-of-4 from 3-point range, and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line in 10 minutes of second-half play. Coming off the bench, Lamb played only one minute during the first half.
Eastern (6-9, 3-4 Ohio Valley Conference) led 35-28 with 12:01 to play, but Morehead (5-9, 3-4) mounted a comeback, and Lamb's first 3-pointer tied the game at 36.
Maze Stallworth hit a 3-pointer with 2:45 left to give Morehead a 54-51 lead and setting off an 11-2 run to end the game.
Stallworth finished with 15 points, and Kenneth Faried added 11 for the Eagles.
Darnell Dialls led Eastern with 16 points while Adam Leonard and Mike Rose scored 15 each.
Eastern led 21-18 at halftime after dominating most of the half, including a nine-point advantage after a three-point play by Dialls. Morehead responded by scored eight straight points before a 3-pointer by Adam Leonard with 14 seconds left put the Colonels on top at intermission.
