BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -Rashad Green had a double-double, finishing with 13 points and 11 rebounds, to lead Manhattan to a 69-65 win over Canisius in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference basketball Friday.

Antoine Pearson hit the winning basket for the Jaspers (8-7, 2-3) when he scored a 3-pointer with 1:11 remaining to snap a 65-65 tie. Manhattan's defense held Canisius scoreless over the final 1:37 to help seal the win and snap a three-game losing streak.

Darryl Crawford scored 14 points for Manhattan, while Chris Smith and Devon Austin finished with 11 points apiece.

Frank Turner had 18 points, leading Canisius (2-13, 0-5), which has lost three straight and was coming off a 102-51 loss at Rider, the most lopsided loss in conference history. Jovan Robinson had 15 points and Greg Logins had 12 points for the Golden Griffins.

Canisius led by as many as 12 points in the first half, but the Jaspers got back into the game with a 17-0 run to turn a 22-10 deficit into a 27-22 lead.
