1/12/2008 8:11 PM

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Kyle Landry scored 25 points to pass the 1,000 mark in his college career as Northern Arizona beat Montana State 78-58 Saturday night.

Landry, a senior center, entered the game with 991 career points. He hit two free throws in the first half to become the 22nd player in school history to reach the 1,000-point plateau.

Josh Wilson added 16 points, Zarko Comagic 11 and Landry pulled down a game-high nine rebounds for the Lumberjacks (12-6, 4-1 Big Sky), who won for the eighth time in their last 10 games.

Carlos Taylor paced Montana State (9-7, 1-2) with 19 points but was held to just seven in the first half on 3-of-8 shooting from the field.

Casey Dunham finished with 17 points for the Bobcats, who lost their sixth straight game to Northern Arizona.

The Lumberjacks used a 10-2 run early in the first half to take the lead to stay and a 24-2 spurt put them up 34-23 at halftime.

Northern Arizona is now 103-27 in the Walkup Skydome here since the 1996-97 season and has won 27 of its last 31 home games overall.
