CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) -Nicchaeus Doaks had 13 points and 13 rebounds to lift the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga to a 85-55 win over Western Carolina on Saturday.
The Mocs (12-5, 7-0 Southern) took advantage of W. Carolina's fouling and shot 27-of-35 free throws.
Stephen McDowell and Marcus Watts both added 18 points as Chattanooga dominated in the second half, leading by as much as 30 with 2:28 left in the game.
Brandon Giles had 15 points for W. Carolina (5-11, 1-5), which shot just 28 percent from the field for the game.
Khalil Hartwell added 12 points and Kevin Goffney contributed 14 rebounds for Chattanooga.
