GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -Stephen Curry had 14 points as Davidson won its fifth straight and stayed undefeated in Southern Conference play with a 71-53 victory over Furman on Wednesday night.

Curry led four players in double figures for the Wildcats (9-6, 7-0 SoCon), who beat the Paladins (2-15, 1-7) for the 21st time in the last 22 meetings.

It didn't take long for Davidson to put this one away as it rushed out to a 21-8 in the first seven minutes. Curry scored 7 points during the run. The Wildcats closed the opening half with a 13-2 run and took a 37-20 lead into the locker room.

Davidson kept it up after the break, outscoring the Paladins 10-2 at the start to take its biggest lead, 47-22on Andrew Lovedale's slam at the 17 minute mark.

Boris Meno had 12 points for Davidson while Jason Richards had 11 and Will Armchambault 10.

Junior forward Alex Opacic led Furman with 14 points.

The Paladins shot just 35 percent (18-of-51) and had 16 turnovers, half the amount Davidson committed.
