Old Dominion 79, James Madison 52

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) -Gerald Lee scored 19 points to lead Old Dominion to a 79-52 victory over James Madison on Wednesday night.

Abdi Lidonde sank a pair of 3-pointers and Lee was 5-for-8 from the floor to help the Monarchs (9-9, 4-2 Colonial Athletic Association) build a 23-13 lead.

A layup by Abdulai Jalloh with 3:23 left in the first half helped whittle the lead down for the Dukes (10-6, 3-3), but the Monarchs were still up 33-23 at halftime.

Jalloh sank a 3-pointer early in the second half to make the score 38-29. But Lee scored eight more points to help pull the Monarchs ahead for good.

Heiden Ratner had 14 points for James Madison.
