CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -Derek Wright scored 18 points and Austin Peay pulled away in the first half for an 86-71 victory Thursday night over Tennessee-Martin.
Austin Peay (12-7, 8-1 Ohio Valley Conference) made 22-of-27 free throws to stay ahead.
Tennessee-Martin (8-11, 4-5) was paced by Lester Hudson with 32 points. He entered the game as the nation's second leading scorer with an average of 27.1.
Wes Channels scored 16 and Todd Babington added 14 for the winners, who led 40-29 at the half.
Marquis Weddle added 17 points for Tennessee-Martin.
