DENTON, Texas (AP) -Bo McCalebb scored 23 points to become the Sun Belt Conference's all-time leading scorer as New Orleans defeated North Texas 83-61 Thursday night.

McCalebb has 2,332 points, breaking the record of 2,319 that South Florida's Charlie Bradley had held since 1985.

McCalebb hit 8 of 15 from the field and all six of his free throws. Kyndall Dykes added 22 points for Privateers (13-5, 3-3). Shaun Reynolds scored 13 and Jaroslav Tyrna added 10.

Collin Dennis led North Texas (12-5, 3-3) with 17 points. Dez Willingham came off the bench to score 14 and Quincy Williams also scored 14 for the Mean Green.

North Texas cut New Orleans' lead to three at 45-42 with 13:03 left in the second half. But the Privateers then went on a 31-5 run to take a 76-47 lead with 5:33 left.

New Orleans held North Texas to its lowest scoring total of the season and snapped the Mean Green's three-game winning streak.
