LITTLE ROCK (AP) -De'Andre Eggins scored 14 points to help Arkansas-Little Rock escape with a 59-57 victory Thursday night over Louisiana-Monroe.

UALR (12-5, 4-2 Sun Belt Conference) led 31-24 at the half after hitting 52 percent of its shots in the opening period while ULM (6-12,0-6) made just 31 percent. But the Trojans lost their shooting touch after intermission, making only 7-of-21 in the second half, while the Warkhawks improved marginally to 34 percent.

Only two players on each team scored in double digits. Steven Moore added 12 points for UALR.

ULM's Jordan Payne outscored all other players with 25 points, making more 3-pointers - 5-of-13 - than the UALR team combined, which shot 4-16 from long distance. Mitchell Hampton also scored 12 points for the Warhawks.
