SAN ANTONIO (AP) -JohnMark Ludwick scored 23 points, including all six of his 3-pointers, to lead Texas-San Antonio to an 81-77 victory over Central Arkansas on Thursday night.
Ludwick, a freshman making his first start, was perfect from the field and missed only one of his six free throws. Melvin Smith came off the bench to add 20 points for the Roadrunners (7-8, 1-1 Southland Conference). Isaiah Allen scored 14 points and Devin Gibson had 10 points, 13 assists and four steals.
York Sims led Central Arkansas (11-6, 1-2) with 24 points and Nate Bowie added 22. Ryan Williams scored 10.
Sims hit a layup with 10 seconds left and Williams added a free throw to cut Texas-San Antonio's lead to 79-77. The Roadrunners got the ball on Williams' intentional miss of a second free throw and Smith hit a jumper with two seconds left for the final margin.
