MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) -Malik Perry scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help lead Ball State past Eastern Michigan 64-60 Saturday afternoon.

Perry made nine-of-11 field goals as the Cardinals rallied from a 31-30 halftime deficit for the Mid-American Conference win. Peyton Stovall added 12 points and Rob Giles scored 10 for Ball State (3-13, 2-2).

Ball State outrebounded Eastern Michigan 36-30, as Perry and Anthony Newell grabbed seven each. All eight Cardinals had at least one rebound.

Carlos Medlock led Eastern Michigan (6-10, 2-2) with 21 points, and James Matthews and Jesse Bunkley both added 10. The Eagles made 7-of-19 3-pointers, while Ball State hit only 2-of-12 shots, or 17 percent, from that distance.

Ball State shot 44 percent from the field, making 22-of-50 field goals. Eastern Michigan shot 43 percent, hitting 19-of-44 field goals.

Ball State was coming off a 71-45 loss to Western Michigan on Wednesday.
