HAMDEN, Conn. (AP)James Feldeine scored 10 straight points in a two-minute stretch late in the game to lead Quinnipiac over Long Island 84-80 on Saturday.

Feldeine finished with 18 points.

He began his run with a driving layup with 3:14 to play, tying the game at 68. He then hit a three-pointer and scored on a putback to give Quinnipiac a 73-68 lead, and they never trailed again.

DeMario Anderson led the Bobcats (10-8, 6-1 NEC) with 21 points, his fifth straight game with at least 20 points.

Jaytonah Wisseh led Long Island with 23 points - all but two of them coming in the second half - as Long Island erased a nine-point halftime deficit to claim a three-point second-half lead.

Kellen Allen added 20 points for the Blackbirds (10-7, 2-4) and David Hicks had 18.

Quinnipiac shot 46 percent from the field for the game, its first conference game shooting under 50 percent. The Bobcats hit 8-of-14 shots from three-point range and have now won four straight.
