1/23/2008 9:09 PM

EASTON, Pa. (AP) -Andrew Brown hit seven 3-pointers and scored 28 points to lead Lafayette to an 80-68 victory over Bucknell on Wednesday night in a matchup of Patriot League unbeatens.

Bilal Abdullah scored 14 points, Matt Betley added 13 and Michael Gruner 10 for Lafayette (13-6, 4-0), which won its fifth straight overall and snapped an eight-game losing streak to Bucknell. Lafayette outscored the Bison 26-9 off turnovers.

John Griffin scored 13 points, Stephen Tyree 12 and Darren Mastropaolo and Justin Castleberry each added 10 for Bucknell (8-10, 3-1).

Nathan Davis was the acting head coach for Bucknell in place of Pat Flannery, who served a one-game suspension after arguing a call and being ejected from Friday's game at Holy Cross.

Brown shot 7-for-12 from 3-point range and Lafayette went 14-for-33 from long range. Bucknell shot 5-for-12 from 3-point range, but outrebounded Lafayette 29-21.
