LORETTO, Pa. (AP) - Grant Surprenant hit tying 3-pointers at the end of the first and second overtimes, as St. Francis, Pa., won its first three-overtime game in school history, 92-84, over St. Francis, N.Y., on Thursday.

Surprenant's heroics helped the Red Flash (4-15, 2-6 Northeast Conference) snap a nine-game losing streak.

The Terriers (5-15, 2-7) have lost 11 of their last 13.

The game was tied at 60 at the end of regulation and the Red Flash, trailing by three, got the ball with 4.4 seconds left in the first overtime. Surprenant's 3-pointer at the buzzer from the right wing evened it at 71.

Surprenant, who nailed 6-of-9 3-pointers for 18 points, got the ball again with his team down three late in the second overtime. He drilled another 3-pointer from the right wing with 14 seconds to go to tie it at 77 and force a third overtime.

Cale Nelson took over from there for the Red Flash.

He buried back-to-back 3-pointers early in the third OT and scored 10 of his 13 points in the stanza to help his team pull away.

Devin Sweetney had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Red Flash.

Robert Hines and Ricky Cadell had 17 points apiece for the Terriers.
