JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) -Ryan Wedel hit all four of his shots from long distance Thursday night and finished with 18 points to lead Arkansas State to a 68-59 victory over Florida International.

Overall, ASU (9-10, 4-4 Sun Belt Conference) made 7-of-10 of its 3-pointers, while FIU (5-13, 2-6) was 2-for-7 from beyond the arc.

The Indians led by just a single point at the half, 28-27, but improved their shooting to 50 percent after intermission to pull away.

Yima Chia-Kur added 15 points for ASU, while Shawn Morgan scored 10.

Alex Galindo led FIU with 14 points, with Russell Hicks scoring 11 and Erick Nsangou 10
