Jason Wills and Austin Ewing added 12 points apiece for the Aggies (9-9), who shot nearly 47 percent in the decisive first half and built a 19-point halftime lead.
Jamal Durham had 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Rams (8-10), who are in their second season at the Division I level and are playing a full Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference schedule, even though they are not yet eligible to win the league title.
North Carolina A&T outrebounded the Rams 48-43 and held them to just 13.6 percent shooting from 3-point range.
