THIBODAUX, La. (AP) -Kevyn Green's 19 points led hot-shooting Southeastern Louisiana to an 80-66 victory over Nicholls State on Saturday.

Southeastern (11-7, 3-2 Southland) shot 71.4 percent from 3-point range and 67.5 percent overall from the floor, holding the Colonels to 35 percent overall and 31 percent from 3-point range.

Green was 6-of-7 from the floor and 3-of-4 from 3-point range. Warrell Span added 16 points and a game-high 13 rebounds; Dekyron Nicks had 13 points and Drayl Arnold 12.

Nicholls (6-14, 1-4) was led by 18 points from Ryan Bathie, who also had four rebounds. Freshman Anatoly Bose, in his first start, had 16 points. Gil Verner and Justin Payne had 11 points each; Payne had a game-high four assists and Verner a game-best four steals.

The Colonels trailed 36-20 at halftime and by 26 points with 7:45 left in the second half, but outscored the Lions 16-9 run over the next 3:23.

Southeastern outrebounded Nicholls 36-19, but committed 28 turnovers to the Colonels' 13.
