Cornell 72, Columbia 54

NEW YORK (AP) -Adam Gore scored 17 points, 14 in the first half, and Ryan Wittman added 16 as Cornell rolled to a 72-54 victory over Columbia on Saturday night.
Cornell (10-7, 2-0 Ivy League) scored the game's first 10 points and expanded the lead to 40-22 by halftime with Gore hitting four of his six shots from the field, including two 3-pointers, and all four from the free throw line.
Brett Loscalzo led Columbia (7-10, 0-2) with 11 points.
Cornell led by as many as 22 points twice in the second half, the last at 70-48 with 1:55 remaining, en route to its fourth straight victory and a completion of the home-and-home Ivy League set with Columbia.
Alex Tyler had 11 points for the Big Red and Louis Dale scored 10. Wittman had a game-high eight rebounds as Cornell dominated the boards 41-27.
Columbia has lost three of four.
