MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -Demetrius Green scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Middle Tennessee to a 69-60 win over North Texas on Sunday.
Kevin Kanaskie's late 3-point barrage was too much for North Texas (12-7, 3-5). The Blue Raiders (8-11, 5-4) were 1-11 from deep before Kansaskie hit four 3-pointers to give Middle Tennessee a late three-point lead it would never relinquish.
Kanaskie's 3-pointers triggered a 20-7 Middle Tennessee run to finish the game. He scored a total of 18 points while Dino Hair also scored double digits with 10 points.
Josh White led the Mean Green with a team-high 16 points. Dez Willingham also added 14 points and Quincy Williams had 13 points and six rebounds.
