EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) - Jeremy Goode scored a game-high 18 points to go with 10 assists and four of his teammates reached double figures in scoring, and Mount St. Mary's registered its highest point total in eight years, beating St. Francis (N.Y.) 97-60 on Thursday night.

It was the Mount's most points scored and most lopsided victory in the five-year tenure of coach Milan Brown. The Mountaineers hadn't scored that many points since a 109-99 loss to Wagner on Jan. 22, 2000.

The Mountaineers (10-11, 6-4 Northeast Conference) connected on eight of their first nine field goal attempts, four of them 3-pointers, to establish a 21-7 lead six minutes into the game, and led 56-37 at halftime for their top first-half output since 1994. The Terriers (5-17, 2-9) never pulled closer than nine the rest of the way in losing their fifth in a row.

Chris Vann scored 17 points and Will Holland had 16, while Kelly Beidler (14 points) and Shawn Atupem (a career-high 12 points) came off the bench to join them in double figures as the Mountaineers shot a season-best 58.1 percent from the field.

Marcus Williams led St. Francis with 15 points.
