HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) -Evann Baker scored a team-high 17 points and DeMario Anderson scored all but two of his 16 points in the second half to lead Quinnipiac to a 73-55 win over St. Francis, Pa. on Thursday night.
The Bobcats (11-9, 7-2 Northeast Conference) used a 13-0 run midway through the second half to open up a tight game and complete a season sweep of the Red Flash (5-16, 3-7).
Quinnipiac, the Northeast Conference's best-shooting team, suffered through a dismal shooting performance in the first half. The Bobcats shot just 35 percent from the field and went 3-for-10 from the line and trailed 26-25 at intermission.
But Quinnipiac rallied to shoot 70 percent in the second half and pulled away. The Bobcats also dominated the boards, outrebounding the Red Flash 35-30 and outscored them 38-16 in the paint.
Justin Rutty added 14 points and seven rebounds and Bryan Geffen had 11 points for Quinnipiac. Louis Brookins had a game-high 11 rebounds.
Bassirou Dieng led St. Francis with 18 points and Cale Nelson had 12.
