FAIRBORN, Ohio (AP) -Vaughn Duggins scored 12 points and N'Gai Evans had 11 points off the bench as Wright State held off Wisconsin-Green Bay for a 71-67 win Thursday night.
The lead changed 10 times in the first half. But Wright State (12-6, 5-4 Horizon League) went in front for good just before halftime and then built a 15-point lead, 59-44, with 7:45 to play.
Rahmon Fletcher scored nine points over the next five minutes to help the Phoenix (11-8, 5-4) get to within five, 64-59, with 2:38 left. But Wright State hung on with free throw shooting and Green Bay couldn't get closer than five until Terry Evans' meaningless tip-in in the final seconds.
Fletcher scored 18 points and Mike Schachtner and Evans each scored 16 for Wisconsin-Green Bay.
Todd Brown and Scottie Wilson each added nine points for Wright State.
