NEW ORLEANS (AP) -Bo McCalebb tied his season high with 33 points and Kyndall Dykes added 21 as New Orleans rallied to beat Troy 82-73 on Saturday.
A 13-2 run in the last five minutes gave Troy (10-12, 3-8 Sun Belt) a 38-30 halftime lead, which the Trojans stretched to 40-30 with the first basket after intermission.
But UNO (15-8, 5-6) got the next 11 points and, with 16:11 left, the lead.
The lead went back and forth for the next few minutes. Neither team led by more than four points until a 7-0 run put the Privateers ahead 68-61 with 5:55 left. They stayed ahead by at least four points for the rest of the game.
McCalebb was 10-of-14 from the field and had a career-best five 3-point shots as UNO snapped a three-game losing streak.
The two teams combined for 65 3-point field goal attempts, 40 of those attempts by Troy.
UNO got three 3-point shots from James Parlow, whose 11 points all came in the second half.
O'Darien Bassett led the Trojans with 15 points but was just 6-of-18 from the field, including one of eight 3-point attempts. Trayce Macon and Justin Jonus each had 12 points.
