HONOLULU (AP) -Bobby Nash scored 16 points to lead Hawaii to a 71-57 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday night.

Matt Gibson had 14 points for the Rainbow Warriors (10-11, 6-3 Western Athletic Conference) and Jared Dillinger and Riley Luettgerodt added 11 points apiece.

Kyle Gibson led Louisiana Tech (3-16, 0-7) with 16 points and Jonathan Clark and Adrian Rogers added 11 each for the Bulldogs.

Back-to-back 3-pointers by Gibson and Dillinger with less than 30 seconds remaining in the first half gave Hawaii a 41-32 lead at halftime.

The Bulldogs used a 10-2 spurt to pull to within 48-45 with 11:04 left. But Hawaii responded with a 10-2 run of its own, capped by consecutive 3-pointers by Nash. The Bulldogs would get no closer than eight the rest of the way.

Louisiana Tech shot 57.9 percent from the floor to keep things close for most of the first half, which featured five ties and six lead changes.

Hawaii won three games in a row for the first time this season.
