JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (AP) - Kevin Tiggs scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds to help ETSU beat Kennesaw State 72-66 on Sunday.

Travis Strong and Courtney Pigram scored 13 and 10 points, respectively, for the Bucs (13-9, 7-2 Atlantic Sun). Mike Smith also matched Tiggs with eight rebounds, helping the Bucs to a 38-30 advantage over the Owls in that category.

Kennesaw State (6-17, 3-6) led 31-29 at the half, but ETSU came back in the second to lead 43-35.

In the second half, ETSU shot 50 percent from the field and held the Owls to 38 percent after allowing Kennesaw State to shoot 44 percent in the first half. ETSU grabbed 11 steals and forced 16 turnovers.

Kennesaw State was led by a game-high 28 points from Ronell Wooten, while Shuan Stegall and Keonte Keith added 11 points apiece.
