BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -Michael Tuck scored 20 points as Loyola defeated Canisius 74-62 Sunday afternoon in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play.

Loyola (13-10, 8-3 MAAC) took command of the game in the first half when Marquis Sullivan hit four consecutive 3-pointers, accounting for all the scoring during a 12-3 Greyhounds run.

Sullivans fourth 3-pointer made the score 21-13 with 12:15 remaining and propelled the junior into first place all-time on Loyola's career 3-pointers list.

Canisius (4-18, 2-10 MAAC) closed the gap to 66-62 on a basket by Tomas Vazquez-Simmons with 1:47 left in the second half, capping a 5-0 run.

But Loyola went 6-6 from the free throw line in the games final 1:32 to put the game out of reach.

Gerald Brown scored 18 points for the Greyhounds who won for the sixth-straight time and pulled into a three-way tie for second place in the conference.

Sullivan finished with 15. Tuck went 10-15 from the field and has scored 20 or more points in four of the last five games.

Vazquez-Simmons led Canisius with 15 points. Elton Frazier had 14.
