LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) -Jarell Brown scored a game-high 21 points to help Army end its 15-game losing streak to Bucknell with a 68-52 victory on Sunday.

The Black Knights' last win in the series came on Feb. 14, 2001, at West Point.

The Bison played without head coach Pat Flannery, who became ill during Wednesday's loss to Lehigh.

Army (10-11, 3-4 Patriot League) trailed throughout the first half before putting together a 10-2 start after the break. Brown's 3-pointer at the 13:25 mark gave the Black Knights the lead for good.

Bucknell (9-12, 4-3) got within 37-36 on Darren Mastropaolo's basket with 10:54 left, but Army followed with six consecutive points to regain control.

The Bison, who started the second half with six missed shots and two turnovers, never got closer than four the rest of the game.

``There's no excuse you can make to justify what we did today,'' Bucknell assistant coach Nathan Davis said.

``It's not that big of a distraction,'' Griffin said of Flannery's situation. ``I talked to him this morning. He's disappointed he can't be here, but he's got to take care of himself first.''

John Griffin's 17 points led Bucknell.

Flannery left Wednesday night's game against visiting Lehigh early in the second half and spent the night at a nearby hospital in satisfactory condition. He was released Thursday night, but returned Friday for more outpatient testing. His return date to the team is unknown.

The home loss was Bucknell's second in a row after 38 consecutive home league wins. Bucknell had a season-high 24 turnovers.

Army's last win in Lewisburg was Jan. 29, 1997.
