CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -Tony White Jr. scored 17 points to lead the College of Charleston to a 63-48 win over The Citadel on Monday night.

The Cougars (10-12, 5-7 Southern Conference) never trailed as the picked up their 12th straight win over the Bulldogs (5-16, 0-12).

Charleston scored 12 points in a row over seven minutes in the first half to turn a tie game into a 20-8 lead.

The Citadel trailed by 11 at half, but cut the deficit to just 37-33 on Austin Dahn's 3-pointer with just under 14 minutes to go.

The Cougars then scored the next 10 points to lead 46-33 with just over eight minutes to go. They would lead by at least 12 the rest of the way.

Charleston had 38 rebounds, nine more than The Citadel. The Cougars shot 49 percent (25-of-51) from the field, compared to 32.7 percent (18-of-55) for the Bulldogs.

Cameron Wells led The Citadel with 17 points and eight rebounds, while Dahn added 11 points.

Andrew Goudelock added 12 points and Jermaine Johnson and Jeremy Simmons each added 10 rebounds for Charleston.
