LEWISTON, N.Y. (AP) -Charron Fisher had a game-high 31 points - 21 in the second half - as Niagara beat Loyola (Md.) 83-79 Tuesday night in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at the Gallagher Center.

Niagara (14-7, 8-4 MAAC) also got 20 points from Tyrone Lewis, while Benson Egemonye added 15. Stanley Hodge netted 12 points while Fisher had a game-high nine rebounds.

Loyola (13-11, 8-4) was led by Gerald Brown's 30 points. Brown scored 18 points in the second half. Marquis Sullivan and Brian Rudolph each scored 12 points.

Lewis gave Niagara a 77-76 lead when he drove the lane and scored with 4:55 to play. Brown then sank two free throws with 2:29 to play to tie the game, 78-78. He added another free throw at 1:13 for a 79-78 lead.

Fisher scored inside for an 80-79 lead. Fisher added two free throws with 25 seconds left before Egemonye rounded out the scoring with a free throw at 12.1 seconds to play.

Loyola, which saw a six-game win streak snapped, did not make a field goal in the last 9:58 as its last 11 points came at the foul line.
