HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -Kyle Swanston and Terrance Carter combined for 24 points in the second half Wednesday night as James Madison rallied to beat Towson 73-68.
The Dukes (11-11, 4-8 Colonial Athletic Association) trailed 41-25 at halftime, but used a 13-0 run early in the second half to get back in it. They took their first lead on Swanston's 3-pointer with 9:12 to play and used a 10-0 run later to go ahead to stay.
Towson (9-13, 5-7) was outscored 48-27 over the final 20 minutes.
Carter scored 17 points to lead the Dukes and Swanston and Abdulai Jalloh had 16.
Towson got 14 from Junior Hairston, 13 from Josh Thornton and 12 from C.C. Williams.
