HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) -Arizona Reid got 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead High Point to 67-53 victory over Liberty on Wednesday night.
Mike Jefferson scored 16 points for High Point (13-9, 5-3 Big South) and Eugene Harris scored 13.
Alex McLean led the Flames (12-11, 4-4) with 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Anthony Smith had 13 points.
Liberty led just once in the game, at 22-21 with 7 minutes to play in the first half after Smith, Kyle Ohman and TeeJay Bannister scored consecutive 3-pointers.
But High Point closed the half with 15-6 run and led 36-28 at halftime.
Liberty closed to within 45-40 in the second half, but two baskets by Reid and one by Cruz Daniels pushed the Panthers' lead to double digits.
