TULSA, Okla. (AP) -Robert Jarvis scored six of his team-high 14 points in the last 1:33 to help Oral Roberts outlast Oakland 60-53 in a Summit League defensive struggle on Thursday night.

Jarvis was only 2-of-9 from the field, but made all eight of his free throws. Adam Liberty added 13 points to help the Golden Eagles (16-5, 11-0 Summit) win their ninth in a row despite shooting 39 percent from the field (20-of-51).

Derick Nelson, who was 4-of-18 from the field, led the Golden Grizzlies (12-11, 7-5) with 13 points. Oakland's Erik Kangas missed his first nine shots, but made his last four, all 3-pointers in the final 5:08, to finish with 12 points.

The Golden Grizzlies couldn't sink their first 15 shots in the second half and finished at 30 percent from the field (21-for-70).

Oral Roberts led 28-21 at intermission and held Oakland scoreless in the second half until Patrick McCloskey's basket with 12:57 remaining. The Golden Eagles widened their advantage to 44-31 on Shawn King's layup with 7:29 remaining.

Kangas' outside shooting helped Oakland cut its deficit to 49-45 with 1:41 left, but the Golden Grizzlies couldn't get any closer as Oral Roberts scored the next six points.

Jarvis sank two free throws at 1:33. Forty-five seconds later, a Kelvin Sango dunk and two Jarvis free throws resulting from a technical on Oakland's bench made it 55-45.

In the first half, Oral Roberts stumbled, making only three of its first 18 shots from the field as Oakland held a 14-9 lead with 7:25. The Golden Eagles then went 8-for-11 the rest of the half, with Oakland's last lead at 16-13.

Liberty followed with a tying 3-point play to start a 10-2 run and Marchello Vealy's ensuing basket gave Oral Roberts the lead for good at 18-16.
