NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -Alex Zampier scored a career-high 18 points and Caleb Holmes added 16 as Yale snapped a three-game losing streak and defeated Harvard 83-70 Friday night.
Yale (8-11, 2-3 Ivy League) built a 51-32 lead early in the second half, and Harvard never got closer than 10 points the rest of the way.
Evan Harris led Harvard with 23 points and Andrew Pusar chipped in 14.
Harvard (6-15, 1-4) was leading 19-15 midway through the first half when Eric Flato hit a 3-pointer for Yale that sent the Bulldogs on a 17-4 run. Flato added a long 3-pointer at the buzzer to give Yale a 44-28 lead at the break.
Porter Braswell finished with 12 points for Yale and Flato amassed 11 points as the Bulldogs sent Harvard to its fourth-straight loss.
Yale forced the Crimson into 17 turnovers in the first half, and the Bulldogs had 14 steals during the game.
